Appeals

If you received an unemployment insurance benefit or tax determination and disagree with the determination, the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development provides claimants and employers with opportunities for independent review through appeal hearings conducted by appeals officers. You can file a benefit appeal by mail, email, fax or telephone. All tax appeals must be filed in writing.
